2019 Annabel Sparkling


100% chardonnay, barrel fermented and produced via the traditional method of secondary fermentation in bottle. The nose has suggestions of young green banana, lemon curd, green apple skins and spiced fresh almond croissants. The palate is where this really shines, conveying a creamy texture and delicately citrus flavour profile, the impact of the short time on lees is gentle. The mousse is fresh and fine, with good length and plump, smooth texture. This beautiful sparkling will develop more complex and toasty flavours in the years to come, should you wish to save it for a special occasion!
