2019 Annabel Sparkling


100% chardonnay, barrel fermented and produced via the traditional method of secondary fermentation in bottle. The nose has suggestions of young green banana, lemon curd, green apple skins and spiced fresh almond croissants. The palate is where this really shines, conveying a creamy texture and delicately citrus flavour profile, the impact of the short time on lees is gentle. The mousse is fresh and fine, with good length and plump, smooth texture. This is intended for drinking early, but should you wish to age it it will develop more complex and toasty flavours up to seven years. Now – 2026
