Single Vineyard Wine

We planted the vineyard in 1998 on the ancient river flats of Crooked Brook - Ferguson Valley, previously rich dairy country — you can still see the decommissioned dairy behind us on the hill. With plantings of Shiraz, Grenache, Mataro and Chardonnay, it is one of the early-ripening vineyards in the area, thanks to an excellent Mediterranean micro-climate.

All our wines are from Single Vineyard fruit from Crooked Brook Vineyard which has produced award-winning vintages of Chardonnay, Shiraz, Grenache, Fortified Shiraz, Mataro, Rosé and Sparkling — with a late harvest sticky Chardonnay coming soon. The land here has rich alluvial soils and every grape for our Crooked Brook Wines label is exclusively single vineyard, sourced from 566 Crooked Brook Rd, Crooked Brook WA 6236. Made in small batches, limited quantities are available.

Small Batch made with Traditional Methods

Crooked Brook is known for hand crafted single vineyard wines made in small quantities. All fruit is sourced exclusively from our single vineyard at Crooked Brook, planted by us in 1998. Chardonnay, Sparkling, Shiraz, Rosé, Grenache and Mataro grapes are grown at Crooked Brook Vineyard and made into delicious wine by the Williams Family.

Located in the very pretty Ferguson Valley which is part of the Geographe region of Western Australia, in 1998 we were struck by the beauty of the land and dreamed of planting a vineyard. After searching for viable sites, we kept returning to one property in particular on Crooked Brook Road — with the water, the birds and the beauty, we were sold. And so Crooked Brook Wines became a reality. The vision not only included making excellent wine, but to beautify the landscape and enhance the Crooked Brook, our namesake, to retain the natural birdlife.

We are proud to say that Crooked Brook's achievements include Gold medals and Trophies for best in show at a variety of wine shows, including the National Wine Show of Australia, Winewise Small Vigneron Awards, Geographe Wine Show and Blackwood Valley Wine Show where vintages of Chardonnay, Rosé, Shiraz, Grenache, Mataro and Sparkling have been awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.  See our Medals page for more info.
