2022 James Shiraz Ray Jordan Wine Review 2024

The grapes were harvested then processed at the winery quickly. A high percentage of whole berries were left to encourage complex fruit aromatics.

The aroma is ripe and complex with subtle hints of the warm vintage. There are ripe plum shiraz characters backed by nuances of choc mint, dried sage, bay leaf and cranberries. This wine is rich and mouth filling. The flavours are young and vibrant and seasoned with hints of herbs, smoke and red berry fruit. Silky smooth tannins complete the wine and draw it on to a lengthy finish. Cellar with confidence for 10 years.
