Ray Jordan 2024 Review

The 2023 Rose was made from Mataro grapes. AKA Mouvedre.

The juice was settled clear and the juice was fermented cool to retain natural fruitiness. The wine was bottled in June 2023 again to retain fresh fruit characters.

Nectarine fruit characters dominate the nose backed by fresh strawberry, hints of honeycomb and a maraschino cherry lift.

The palate is fresh and vibrant with crisp acid. The nectarine fruit also has hints of grapefruit sage and bayleaf. This lovely wine is refreshing with sweet hints but a long clean dry finish.
